Tool Service & Repair Process
- We will review your Service and Repair Form submission and contact you with next steps including providing you with a RMA (Return Authorization) number. Equalizer® reserves the right to send back your tool if you do not have a RMA# associated with your repair. This allows us to keep track of your repair and provide you with the necessary information.
- In order for Equalizer to evaluate your tool for warranty inspection, we will need a copy of the original invoice or proof of purchase from an Authorized Distributor.
- Please note: Once a RMA number is issued, you have 30 days to send in your tool for service. If we do not receive the tool within this timeframe, the RMA will be automatically closed, and you will need to contact us to request a new RMA if service is still needed. To avoid delays, please ship your tool as soon as possible after receiving your RMA number. If you anticipate any issues with shipping, contact us before the 30-day period expires
- When we receive your tool, the Equalizer® Repair Team will evaluate the tool and contact you about the following options:
- At our discretion, we will warranty repair or replace a defective product and ship your tool back to you at no charge.
- Should our evaluation find that the tool is not defective due to a manufacturing defect, the customer can elect to have the tool returned as is, or can discuss with our Repair Department possible repair options and costs, including all freight costs associated with the service and repair process.
- Please note: If we are unable to contact you regarding the repair of your tool after 90 days from the date of receiving your tool, the tool will be considered abandoned. We will make reasonable attempts to reach you via the contact information provided at the time of service. If no response is received within this period, we reserve the right to discard, recycle, or resell the tool at our discretion, without further notice or liability. To avoid abandonment, please ensure your contact details are up to date and respond promptly to our notifications.
