Today, you see more technicians using vacuum cups to set a windshield than you saw just a few years ago. The most common thing you hear about vacuum cups amongst technicians is that they do not trust them. Well, you can trust these. The Equalizer® Windshield Setting Cups are big: at 7” in diameter and each vacuum cup is rated at 90 pounds of lifting capacity. The handles are made of cast aluminum and are attached to the cup by high tensile strength bolts. All of that is great but most important of all is the highly visible pump vacuum ring. As you pump the plunger to create the vacuum seal the red line disappears and, it warns you that it is losing pressure when it reappears. Unlike many vacuums these are made for curved glass - yes there is a difference between a flat glass vacuum and a curved glass vacuum.

PUSH KNIFE features a rectangular plate for striking with a rubber mallet, enabling power from the mallet to be transferred to the blade and through the urethane. Equalizer® Express® blades can be easily changed out by unscrewing the hinged plate that locks the blade in place.
